Part of a series of abstract compositions based on sketches made looking out of the window of a train in motion. It is an ode to the provisional; featuring glimpses of architecture and landscape not articulated in full. Wilson paints on layered surfaces constructed from cardboard and wood which give the compositions a relief element. Hard edge fields of colour are intersected by lines 'drawn' by the shadows and highlights of the relief, placing this somewhere between painting and sculpture.
